Urmston Grammar School New Theatre.

Phase 4 of a continuous programme of works at Urmston Grammar School , links an existing teaching block to the Sports Hall.

The new building houses a Theatre, Fitness Suite and Classrooms. A wide Cloister running the length of the building provides a flexible spaces for use by both school and community.

Urmston Grammar School Fitness Suite.

The new Fitness Suite at Urmston Grammar School at first floor level sits over the, new Theatre below. The two spaces are designed for both school and community use, and therefore have both public and school entrances.

The public entrance incorporates a lobby reception desk acting as information point and security. The school entrance off a wide cloister corridor provides breakout spaces adjacent the Schools common room, and a public area before and during play performances.

Urmston Grammar School New Classrooms

A two storey classroom extension to an existing Victorian building. With an emphasis on matching existing materials. Natural slate, metal windows and stonework have been integrated into this period building.
