Opened in August 2006, the Day and Stay Ward at Charing Cross Hospital was a complete refurbishment of an existing first floor Care of the Elderly ward.

The facility comprises of a new theatre, 26 beds with en-suite shower room facilities, support spaces, a 9 bed private patient’s suite and lounge.  In addition a new entrance to the wing, the unit provides a completely new experience to patients who require surgical procedures and a short stay in hospital.
